Review of the MS Ocean Endeavour, an expediton cruise ship for 198 passengers

Our favourite cruise: Northwest Passage. Review in English language.

The MS Ocean is an expedition ship built in Poland 1982 and completely refit and refurbished in 2014. The vessel has ice class 1 B and is used among other routes for the legendary Northwest Passage. The ship for a maximum of 198 passengers is 137 meters long and is not a luxury, but a midrange comfort ship boasting kajaks, zodiacs, a little library, a spa, a gym, a café and has spacious decks to enjoy the arctic landscapes.Our impression was that the Ocean Endeavour is in good shape, the crew was friendly and the food was good though not gourmet. All in all a solid, comfortable expedtion ship, not luxury, but value for money.

Outside Cabins Category 8 (one spacious room), Category 9 (comes with an extra-room) and category 10: die biggest and most expensive option, at the front side of the ship; there are four of them.
