Does your wish list look like this: no room, rather your own villa. With heated private pool please. No crowds, but a lot of rest, privacy, relaxation. Fantastic sea view. All surrounded by fragrant pine, olive and other trees. Yes and a good spa. A huge infinity pool. Plus of course a nice little beach, private, for guests only. And a boat dock. Plus motor yacht, alas. For dining: sushi, local Turkish specialities, Mediterranean cuisine, fish and seafood. The good news: The Amanruya can fulfill these wishes. Like all Aman hotels and resorts, this one on the Turkish Riviera, 20 minutes drive from Bodrum, is designed for the most discerning guest who is willing to pay hefty prices for high quality. Amanruya sits high above the shimmering turquoise Aegean Sea. And it’s very exclusive, very private. There are only five suites and 31 villas, all with a small garden, a covered arbor and a heated private pool. There is also a spa. Located adjacent to the inviting 50 meter infinity pool, it consists of two treatment rooms, one of which is particularly suitable for couples. And what is there to eat? Recently, a sushi restaurant has also been part of the Amanruya; the main restaurant offers high-quality Turkish specialties and Mediterranean cuisine. Light dishes, fish and seafood are served in the beach club by the sea. Amanruya also has a yoga studio and if you feel the need for a good book, it has its own architecturally interesting library tower. All in all, Amanruya (which translates to peaceful dream) looks like an old Turkish village surrounded by greenery and chirping crickets, but it’s an exceedingly fine vacation haven with the high standards of a 21st-century ultra-luxe hotel.
Indicative – subject to change.
