The Ashbee Hotel Taormina

Taormina, Sicily

Italy

What is luxury? A villa with breathtaking views built by a famous british architect, Robert Charles Ashbee, in 1908, 24 rooms and suites only plus a Michelin starred restaurant, secluded but still just a few minutes walking to the centre of Taormina. That is the Ashbee. A hotel like no
other in Taormina. Imagine antiquities, rooms and suites as a fusion of historic features and modern furnishing. Enjoy a mix of british gentleman style and pure Sicily. Have a drink at the Pool Bar, the Ashbee Bar or ther roof terrace. Great infinity pool and one of the finest private gardens in Taormina. Great Food. Simply fingerlicking good. All in all: An experience.

Endless wisdom in a nutshell

Best Time
April to June, September to October.
Best Rate
From 620 Euro

Indicative – subject to change.

Best Room
Apart from the top line suite, the Ashbee suite, our favourite is the deluxe seaview room with private terrace with sea view.
Getting there
A 50 minutes transfer from Catania Airport.
Best Excursion

A “Godfather”-movie location private tour to Sicilian hill towns, including wine and a great dinner in a gourmet restaurant in Forza D’Agro. Comfortable car and your own guide. Price: Around 360 Euro.

Good for Children
Not really.
Value for Money
In General: Pricey but extraordinary and excellent. Standard rooms (20 sqm) are a bit overpriced.
Worst Thing
Standard rooms a bit small. Rooms at the backside lack the views. If you seek silence in the evening this may not be the right choice as many guests enjoy a dinner or a drink outside.

Breathtaking Hotels.
